Wednesday evening…
Clearly, the the jet lag, time zone changes, and lack of sleep have affected me. In my last post, I said we were leaving on Thursday. That’s incorrect. It’s Friday afternoon, so I will have another day tomorrow in Singapore.
Today, I ventured off the ship in the morning and visited a nice coffee shop and was back on the ship later to find that the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. As of 8:40 p.m. tonight, it still isn’t working.
I worked out in a very warm fitness facility and then headed out to play Pickleball in weather with a 104° heat index. I was so wiped out that I laid down for an hour before dinner. So… I’ve completely screwed myself for another good night’s sleep.
Lots of talk about the future of the Odyssey at the dinner table and it’s not overly upbeat. But everyone who has been experiencing this lifestyle for more than a few months is absolutely in love with it and will do whatever they can to make sure that the ship keeps sailing.
